This is a transcribed account of Joe Fears as recorded by Michael Fears about two men who had been mushroom hunting and encountered a bigfoot-like creature in the woods. The two spotted the creature from behind, and thinking it was another mushroom-hunter, they called out to it to see how the hunting was going. The creature turned around, started to growl and came after them. The two men dropped their mushrooms and ran away, later describing it as eight feet tall, hairy and extremely scary. |
