| Description: |
Barbara Livingstons transcribed account of the legend of Stiffy Green as collected by Shawn Stoll. According to the legend, Stiffy was a dog who was stuffed and placed in his masters tomb when his master died. Supposedly, the ghost of the dog still protects the tomb from intruders by howling when anyone approaches. The mausoleum is located in Highland Lawn Cemetery in Vigo County, Indiana. |
