Outlaw legend, West Terre Haute, Indiana

Description: Linda Brazzells transcribed interview of Howard Lee about outlaws. According to Lee, he once knew a man who was a saddle tramp. This man would ride his horse all over in search of work. Once he was so hungry that he asked a random Indian woman for food and ate the dog meat that she had cooked. Another time, the man and his horse fell into a big wash and got stuck. His horse was killed, and he claimed that he caught buzzards to fly him out of the hole.
