Vern Howalds transcribed account of gypsies in Clay County, Indiana. According to Howald, gypsies moved into Clay County, Indiana, in 1915. The townspeople were concerned at first, but after time they came to enjoy and trust the gypsies. When the gypsies moved on, the townspeople were sad to see their new friends leave. |
