This is Janet Archibalds typewritten account of the legend of the Bonds Chapel gravestone. According to legend, a man killed his wife with a chain. Although he was innocent, the wifes family maintained that he was guilty and his guilt would be revealed. When he died he was buried alone, and a chain began to appear on the side of the gravestone. |
