This is an anonymous typewritten variant of the legend of Spook Light Hill in Clay County near Brazil Indiana, collected by Jennifer Bowman. According to legend, a young couple were soon to be married. The groom was decapitated in a farming accident, and the bride waited for him until she died. Now her ghost searches for her groom with her dress still on. |
