Remarks that the advertisement should help boost the circulation of the book by leaps and bounds. Tells Theodore Debs that both Theodore Dreiser and David Karsner had trouble in their movie deals. Informs Stone that he is sending him letters for which there are no duplicates so to be careful with them. Writes that during the Pullman Strike the federal government plastered every railway station from Chicago, Illinois to the coast with printed copies of injunctions against the strikers.
