Description:	december 23 1987 city of terre haute 267 section 10 the preliminary offering memorandum is hereby approved in substantially the form submitted to this meeting the mayor is authorized to sign a final offering memorandum submitted to this meeting with such changes therein as shall be approved by the mayor approval of such changes shall be conclusively established by the signature of the mayor the use of the preliminary offering memorandum and the final offering memorandum by the underwriter in connection with the offering and sale of the bonds is hereby approved section 11 the mayor and the city clerk of the city are hereby empowered and directed to execute and deliver the bonds and all documents and other instruments and to do all acts and things which they or either of them deem necessary or desirable to carry out the purposes of the bond purchase agreement the indenture the loan agreement the arbitrage regulation agreement the representation and indemnity agreement or this ordinance section 12 the terre haute economic development commission held a public hearing with respect to the project and the issuance of the bonds on december 23 1987 the project as more fully described in the loan agreement before the common council at this meeting will be used by international minerals & chemical corporation and is to be located at the companys animal health and chemical products plant adjacent to 1311 south first street near the intersection of south first street and prairieton road in terre haute indiana the common council in accordance with section 147(f of the international revenue code of 1986 hereby approves the project and the issuance of the bonds in the amount not to exceed 4,000,000 for the purpose described herein section 13 this bond ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its adoption by the common council and approval by the mayor passed in open council this 23rd day of december 1987 common council of the city of terre haute indiana larry w kirchner presiding officer attest charles p hanley city clerk presented by me to the mayor this 23rd day of december 1987 at the hour of 6:30 oclock p.m charles p hanley city clerk approved this 23rd day of december 1987 at the hour of 6:30 oclock p.m p pete chalos mayor presented by william f thompson councilman motion was made by mr thompson and seconded by mr duby that special ordinance no 85 1987 as amended be engrossed and placed upon its passage motion carried 6 yes and 0 no motion was made by mr duby and seconded by mr alsop that the meeting be adjourned motion carried unanimously larry w kirchner presiding officer patricia mansard chief deputy clerk charles p hanley city clerk
