Description:	september 10 1987 city of terre haute 191 resolution no 40 1987 resolution no 40 1987 was read by digest resolution no 40 1987 be it resolved by the common council of the city of terre haute indiana whereas there are insufficient funds in account numbers 210 office supplies 231 repair parts for equipment 240 other supplies and 361 building and fixed equipment)of the city of terre haute indiana to meet current and anticipated expenditures within that account and whereas there are surplus monies in account numbers 220 gasoline 221 diesel fuel 133 unemployment 132 group insurance 112 salaries temporary and 310 service contractual)the city of terre haute indiana which are not presently required for the use in the said park and recreation department that the surplus monies in account numbers 220 gasoline 221 diesel fuel 133 unemployment 132 group insurance 112 salaries temporary and 310 service contractual be transferred to account numbers 210 office supplies 231 repair parts for equipment 240 other supplies and 361 building and fixed equipment said accounts being within the appropriations heretofore made for the use of the said park and recreation department of the city of terre haute indiana be it therefore resolved that the following transfer be made in the accounts heretofore appropriated for the use of the park and recreation department of the city of terre haute indiana to account no 210 $ 500.00 from account no 220 $ 500.00 to account no 231 $ 2,000.00 from account no 221 $ 2,000.00 to account no 231 $ 2,000.00 from account no 133 $ 2,000.00 to account no 231 $ 1,000.00 from account no 132 $ 1,000.00 to account no 231 $ 2,000.00 from account no 220 $ 2,000.00 to account no 240 $ 4,000.00 from account no 112 $ 4,000.00 to account no 361 $ 1,000.00 from account no 310 $ 1,000.00 total 12,500.00 total 12,500.00 presented by larry w kirchner councilman passed in open council this 10th day of september 1987 ray azar president attest charles p hanley city clerk presented by me to the mayor this 14th day of september 1987 charles p hanley city clerk approved by me the mayor this 14th day of september 1987 p pete chalos mayor attest charles p hanley city clerk motion was made by mr duby and seconded by mr thompson that resolution no 40 1987 be adopted by the common council motion carried unanimously resolution no 41 1987 resolution no 41 1987 was read by digest resolution no 41 1987 a resolution pledging the support of the common council of the city of terre haute indiana to the united way of the wabash valley during its 1987 fund raising campaign whereas the united way has for years helped many organizations in the terre haute area through contributions whereas the united way has for the past several years reached the goal set in the amount of 1,000,000.00 an amount
