Description:	186 journal of the common council regular ordinance and the same is hereby declared to be a c-6 strip business district in the city of terre haute county of viga state of indiana together with all rights and privileges that may inure to said real estate and the owners thereof by virtue of the law in such cases provided subject to all limitations and restrictions imposed thereon by deed or otherwise section 2 whereas an emergency exists for the immediate taking effect of the ordinance the same shall be in fmi force and effect from and after its passage by the common council of terre haute and approval of the mayor and publication as required by law motion was made by mr price and seconded by mr duby that special ordinance no 48 1987 be withdraw motion carried unanimously special ordinance no 49 1987 special ordinance no 49 1987 was read by digest motion was made by mr kirchner and seconded by mr thompson that special ordinance no 49 1987 be tabled motion carried unanimously special ordinance no 50 1987 special ordinance no 50 1987 was read by digest motion was made by mr kirchner and seconded by mr thompson that special ordinance no 50 1987 be tabled motion carried unanimously special ordinance no 51 1987 special ordinance no 51 1987 was read by digest terre haute indiana september 10 1987 to the mayor and common council of the city of terre haute indiana gentlemen your committee on traffic with richard zaikovsky as chairman to whom was referred special ordinance no 51 1987 wishes to report favorably respectfully submitted richard zaikovsky l joseph duby george alflop ray azar larry kirchner the committee report was unanimously accepted as favorable by the common council special ordinance no 51 1987 an ordinance providing for the placement of traffic signals at a certain intersection in the city of terre haute be it ordained by the common council of the city of terre haute indiana section 1 pursuant to the provisions of section 303.01 of the municipal code of the common council of the city of terre haute indiana the traffic control maps and file is amended as follows to-wit to require the installation of traffic signals at the intersection of north 15th street and locust street section 2 the board of public works and safety as authorized and directed to procure and install the necessary traffic signal and give notice of the passage of this ordinance as required by law
