Description:	june 11 1987 city of terre haute 107 motion was made by mr frazier and seconded by mr thompson that special ordinance no 26 1987 be engrossed and placed upon its passage motion was defeated 4 no and 2 yes however it was able to be reconsided on 7/9/87 due to changes in the law it was passed at that time in regular session special ordinance no 27 1987 special ordinance no 27 1987 was read by digest committee report terre haute indiana june 11 1987 to the mayor and the common council of the city of terre haute indiana gentlemen your committee on finance with mr frazier as chairman to whom was referred special ordinance no 27 1987 wishes to report favorably respectfully submitted l e frazier larry kirchner james cook william price william thompson the committee report was unanimously accepted as favorable by the common council motion was made by mr frazier and seconded by mr thompson that special ordinance no 27 1987 be amended motion carried 6 yes and 0 no special ordinance no 27 1987 as amended an ordinance to amend special ordinance no 18 1986 be it ordained by the common council of the city of terre haute indiana section 1 that special ordinance no 18 1986 setting the salaries of all employees of the city of terre haute indiana excepting members of the terre haute fire department the terre haute police department the terre haute street department the terre haute cemetery department the terre haute wastewater treatment plant the terre haute transportation utility and excluding elected officials and in some instances establishing certain benefits for the above mentioned included employees section 1 shall be amended as follows mvh street department secretary 1 @ 11,945 1 @ 10,400 section 2 whereas an emergency exisits for the taking effect of this ordinance the same shall be in full force and effect after its passage by the common council and its approval by the mayor presented by ray azar councilman passed in open council this 11th day of june 1987 ray azar president
