Description: The transcript of a public hearing concerning racial discrimination in the sale, rental and financing of private housing in South Bend and Mishawaka. The Citizens Fair Housing Committee of South Bend-Mishawaka took the testimony on March 19, 1963. Those appearing at the hearing were Helen Arnold, James Herring, Bernard Streets, Winona Egendoerfer, Pat Dickinson, Roland Chamblee, Carol Dillon, William Brown, and Audrey Vagner. The hearing was conducted by Thomas Broden, Dale Grayson, and Conrad Kellenberg.
