Description: Watercolor by George Winter. Pot-ta-wat ta-mie Chief (written in faded reddish-purple watercolor, block capitals, upper center; upper edge is 3.0 cm. above upper edge of composition). I-o-wah (written in red watercolor, block capitals, lower center; lower edge is 2.0 cm. below lower edge of composition. Inscribed, lower right: No.8. George Winter; upper right: #13 (in red ink). Circa 1860s-1870s.
