He has shown G.W.s picture to some people and it has been well received; many works at the Union are not as good; none are in the same style, most being warmer. Another artist told him he was paid $75.00 per work by the Union; other details of the Union. His recent travels East and the situation at Hudson. Would like G.W. to send him a sketch of the Battle Ground from the West. |
