There are numbers by each on the people on the front of the image, and some are identified in handwriting on the back: 1. . Eugene Daugherty (on car) 2. Geo Reeves in dump car 3. Wm. Williams 4. Louis Schrader 5. Harry Hon Carmel 6. Ben Dyson 7. Dogie McCarty 8. Chas. Duckworth 9. Harry Miller 10. Fireman unknown. This work crew from the Louisville and Southern Indiana Traction Company appear to be filling in the former Highland railroad trestle on the line to Silver Hills in New Albany, Indiana. It could be from October of 1909. |
