Description: View of a three-story brick building with a sign ;DePauw College.; Written on the front bottom margin is ;DePauw College E. 9th and Main Sts.; A note on the back indicates that it was on the southwest corner of East 9th & Main. Typed on the catalog card: ;Originally it opened as Ind. Female College in 1852, but its name was changed to DePauw College for Young Ladies in 1867. It was later known as DePauw College for Young Men and Women.; (See 725-p5-00436 for a smaller B&W copy and 725-p5-00435 for a smaller color copy.)
