This was once the J. W. Hartley and brothers grocery, which later became the home of M. Wolfe Meats, located on the north side of West Market between State and West First streets. The building was torn down in 1963 to make way for the U.S. General Services Administration Building, or the Federal Building. Ernies Tavern can be seen to the right of the Hartley Building. New Albany, Ind. |
