Copy photograph of a family posed on the porch of a frame house. The two girls hold dolls. Written on the back: Gus Bezy family taken in the 1930s at their old homestead in Section 25 Georgetown township, on Luther Road. Donated by Tim Fentress. Top right to left: Gus / Alice / Leo / bottom right to left: Bernard / Augustine / ? / Clarence / Allie. [Catalogers note: The 1930s date is too late for the style of clothing. Ancestry.com shows that most of the children of Gustave Joseph Bezy and Alice Josephine (Jeunot) Bezy were born in the 1880s and 1890s making this photograph ca. 1908. A copy of this online states that the center girl was a friend of Ella. |
