Postcard showing a streetcar strike disturbance that took place on February 27, 1892 at E. Washington Street near the intersection of Pennsylvania Street and Virginia Avenue. It shows a Pennsylvania & Meridian Street streetcar. Signs for the Model Clothing Co., Erie Dispatch, and a bank are seen. The postcard is a reprint of the 1892 image that was made after 1907. There is information about the strike on the back of the card. |
