Description: This studio portrait shows a young man wearing a late issue 1880 pattern service dress blue uniform and a 1902 pattern visor cap with crossed rifles insignia and the number 12 on it. He is believed to be a soldier in the 12th US Infantry, or possibly a National Guardsman from another state.
