Envelope with illustration of Woodruff Place entrance, Indianapolis, Indiana, circa 1875

Description: The lithograph by Braden & Burford shows the East 10th Street (then named Clifford Avenue) entrance fence at the Woodruff Place residential development. The idealized conception image shows an Italian villa that was never constructed. The green, 3 cent Washington stamp was used in the 1870s and 1880s.
