You have our assurance of our every effort to offer you complete enjoyment, and prime requisite of a perfect vacation.Mary Frances Fleming and her husband Harry Marcus Fleming of Indianapolis and Mabel Van Cleave of Franklin operated the Mar-Fran Motel and restaurant for decades as one of the few businesses in the county where Blacks could stay and dine. The original two-story, forty-room motel was destroyed by fire on November 28, 1966 and rebuilt. M. Fleming auctioned the motel and contents in May 1993.
