Vendors sell produce along the east side of the Indianapolis City Market, ca. 1900-1903. Ralstons original 1821 plan of the city reserved this space for the market. This brick structure, designed by architect D. A. Bohlen and completed in 1886, still stands. In 1903 a shed addition was constructed on this lot to the east of the market building, so we know that this stereoview dates before then. |
