Standing outside the shop are possibly Charles James (left) and John William Thompkins, store manager. The window signs visible are Pianos Rolls Photographs Ukuleles Records and Indiana Avenue Music Shop. The globe hanging above the doorway reads Music Shop for passersby, and the speaker hanging above the door most likely played music. The chalkboard on the left is advertising new records. |
