Two snapshots taken in 1923. The first, presumably of Helen, was taken just before a play at St. Philip Neri on October 11, 1923. The second photo shows Hortense Lechner (sister of Gertrude Lechner, pictured in ia-0001-c046-0001) on her new pony on September 1, 1923.Memory book compiled by Helen M. (Preston) Dorsey (1909-1985). Dorsey lived in Indianapolis, graduating from St. Philip Neri (in 1924) and Lain Business College (in 1925). She received this memory book as a graduation gift from Louise Brown in 1924. Dorsey then filled the pages with memories from both high school and college. |
