IPS building at 150 North Meridian Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, 1963

Description: Time stamped August 1963. Handwritten on the mount is 150 N. Meridian from church. The red car in the foreground is a 1957 Plymouth Belvedere.The Indianapolis Public Schools building at 150 N. Meridian Street opened in 1893 as the first structure built for the Indianapolis Public Library. It was demolished in 1967 after the new IPS Administration Building opened at Delaware and Walnut Streets. The Sheraton Indianapolis City Centre hotel (previously the Hilton and Radisson) opened on this site in 1969.
