Description: Born on April 5, 1872 in Pennsylvania, Nathan Stanley Good arrived in Lafayette in 1875. A member of the Painters and Decorators Union, Good was a sign painter for many years. He died on June 3, 1930 in Lafayette. His work includes this sign.This bank building was located on the northwest corner of West Montgomery and North Bill Streets. It was later replaced by a modernist bank building. The building in the window reflection is the old opera house located on the southwest corner of that intersection.
