Students from O.J. Neighbours Elementary School visited the Paradise Spring Historical Park on 15 May 2015 as part of their Indiana history field trip. Members of the Paradise Spring board organized educational activities to explain the importance of the Treaty of 1826, which ultimately led to the founding of the city of Wabash. Shown are Robert and Ines Gillespie in front of a log cabin. Gillespie portrayed Colonel Hugh Hanna, a Wabash pioneer. |
