Buildings and businesses on the right (north) include the Kahn Building, the Washington Hotel, Feltman & Curmes Shoes, the Oddfellows Building, National City Bank (the lighter-toned skyscraper), Vonnegut Hardware, and the Meyer-Kiser Building. Pictured on the left is the Daniels Corner (Daniels clothing and mens store), ??rlin Pianos, and Gordons.This photo dates to between 1921 (construction date of the National City Bank) and 1924 when the Meyer-Kiser Bank skyscraper was erected east of the hardware. Written in pencil on the photograph is Looking west from Del. The W. H. Bass Photo Co. image is numbered 236772-F2 |
