Written on the back McMillan School in Jackson Twp / taken about 1900.According to the New Richmond Record, the McMillan School was also known as School No. 9 and was built on property owned by Augustus B. McMillan. The schoolhouse burned down in January 1913 when a fire started due to a defective flue. |
