The family of Nathan J. and Savilla (Denton) Mendenhall pose in the spring of 1903 in front of their home in Unionport. This pioneer Hicksite Quaker family settled in Randolph County in the 1830s and several were millwrights who operated mills along Cabin Creek in Randolph County.
