Installation of Dues Restaurant sign, Columbia City, Indiana, 1956

Description: Trucks belonging to the Johnson Brothers Sign Company prepare two neon signs for installation at Dues Restaurant and Coffee Shop. In the background is a sign for the Northern Indiana Public Service Company. Dated 1956.According to the Commercial-Mail (Columbia City), April 23, 1960, Wilfred (Joe) Dues operated the Dues Coffee Shop at 314 West Van Buren Street for eleven years before selling it to employee Walter Ernst in about 1959. Dues bought Blacks Restaurant at 213 West Van Buren in 1960.
