Description: |
Large group gathered in front of the brick Second Friends Meeting House at 1260 Lee Street in West Indianapolis. The lender, Ruth (Jester) Bidleman (6th child from the left with pigtails) states that this was an event/dinner and probably Rally Day in the fall of 1938 or 1939. The man in the front row, 2nd from right is Herbert C. Jester. She stated that as of 2015 she is the only one in the photograph that survives and the meeting house still stands and only has three members. They rent out the building to other congregations and for events. |
