Hough grocery in 1887 [source: Goshen Daily News, March 19, 1887, p. 8]. In May 1888, Kindle and Son sold their grocery business at 114 Main Street to A. Defrees [source: Goshen Times, May 24, 1888, p. 4]. Hiram Kindle (1824-1893) and his son Hiram McCane Kindle (1859-1897) both died in Goshen.As of 2020, the building still stands with an altered storefront at 114 North Main Street, also known as Lincolnway North. |
