Rainbow Point was the home of Homer Rodeheaver at Winona Lake, Indiana. In 1912, he purchased an old farm house and remodeled it to look like a ship, including the addition of a railing around the flat roof. Written on the back is May, 1975 Rainbow Point - Ruth (Rodeheaver) Thomas. Ruth was the half-sister of Homer Rodeheaver who composed, published and sang gospel music with Billy Sunday. Ruth and her husband, Jim Thomas, lived with Homer at Rainbow Point. |
