According to Ancestry.com family trees, Caleb Thayer (1839-1919) and Rebecca Evaline Miller (1855-1931) married in 1874 and had seven children, Harry Wilbert Thayer (1881-1952), Dayton Oran Thayer (1884-1964), George Clinton Thayer (1886-1952), Otis Lee Thayer (1889-1968), Claude Alvin Thayer (1892-1980), Frederick Finley Thayer (1897-1960), and Everett Hale Thayer (1902-1910).
