Description: Rowboats are along the shore in front of the concrete block hotel with an L-shaped porch. A sign over the porch reads: Hotel Esther.The hotel was located in Oakwood Park, a 40-acre tract of land on the northwest side of Lake Wawasee that was owned by the Indiana Evangelical Conference. Hotel Esther, renamed the Oakwood Hotel, was named for the daughter of the parks superintendant.A scan or photograph of the front of a postcard.
