Havens School, Rushville, Indiana, circa 1945

Description: Two-story brick school with a tower and an attic known as the Havens School. The six-room school served the western neighborhoods of Rushville, Indiana from 1892 until 1974. Named after the pioneer resident, William Havens, the building opened on January 4, 1892. Downs and Ready, a firm from Connersville, Indiana, constructed the school.
