A teacher, only known as Ethel, sent this real photo postcard of the two-story brick Chrisney School to a friend in Detroit, stating Have taught in this school three whole days, and just love the work & the dearest children that ever lived.The 1909 Chrisney Sanborn Fire Insurance map indicates that the school was located on the northeast corner of East Locust and College Streets. |
