High School, Bourbon, Indiana, circa 1910

Description: Teachers and students stand on a wooden sidewalk in front of the brick Bourbon School located on the northeast corner of E. Main and Florence Streets.The school was built on the former site of Salem College and stood for about 45 years. It was replaced about 1917 with a new buildiing. The newer building was destroyed by fire in December 1928.
