Boyd leased-out a farmhouse as a hotel and a barn that was remodeled as a clubhouse above and dining room and kitchen below. Activities at the clubhouse and nearby included tennis, basketball, horseshoes, trap shooting, game night, dances, listening to records, dinners, and movie night. The structure burned down in the late 1950s. |
