Dr. Hauss Satatarium, Sellersburg, Indiana, circa 1910

The sanatarium was located at approxiimately 228 North New Albany Avenue. Dr. Hauss house (227 North New Albany Avenue) was directly across the road. Dr. Hauss donated the hospital land to the Methodist Episcopal Church in 1923. A new church and parsonage were built on the site in 1924 and both still stand in 2023. |
