Beacon Drive-In and Sinclair gas station, Lebanon, Indiana, circa 1955

Description: The Beacon Drive-In, managed by Jerry K. Hall, had fountain and curb service and was open 24 hours a day. It was adjacent to a Sinclair gas station at the junction Indiana 39 and the U. S. 52 Bypass.It stood on South Lebanon Street at the I-65 bridge near where Wendys is located in 2020. It was razed to construct Interstate I-65. Date estimate: This image appears in the 1956 Lebanon Cedars yearbook and a car at the pump is a 1955 Chevy.
