Roosevelt. It commemorates George Rogers Clark, who led the capture of Fort Sackville during the Illinois Campaign of the Revolutionary War. The inscription above the columns says "The Conquest of the West - George Rogers Clark and The Frontiersmen of the American Revolution." |
