A memorial to George Rogers Clark run by the National Parks Service is in Vincennes, Indiana.According to the National Parks Service, the classical-style memorial was dedicated in 1936 by President Franklin D. Roosevelt. It commemorates George Rogers Clark, who led the capture of Fort Sackville during the Illinois Campaign of the Revolutionary War. The inscription above the columns says "The Conquest of the West - George Rogers Clark and The Frontiersmen of the American Revolution."
