(this building was on site of the current Post Office).According to census records, their father Daniel Dayhuff operated a hotel in Paoli in 1860 and his widow Mary C. operated the hotel after his death. In 1910 Ellen Dayhuff (1843-1930) lived with her unmarried sisters and is listed as keeping hotel. In 1920 76-year old Ellen kept a boardinghouse on North Gospel Street and lived with her sisters in the house. |
