Description: Men and a child stand in front of a frame building with Henry Swift and 805 painted on the windows. A sign for Taggarts home-made bread is on a bread box in front and the house next door houses a grocery. Postmarked from Indianapolis, August 13, 1909. Part of the message reads: This was taken last winter.The owner was Henry Upton Swift (1862-1936), married to Christina (Scharman) Swift (1865-1934). Directories indicate that the grocery next door at 807 Elm Street was owned by Mrs. Sarah Reeder.
