Description: |
The 2-story and basement brick school has the year 1904 in the pediment. According to the Brook Reporter, construction began in July 1904 on the site of the old Brook School on the northeast corner of Railroad and Washington Streets. The class of 1966 was the last to graduate from the high school, but it remained an elementary school until those students consolidated with South Newton in 1997. The building was razed in 1998. |
