During the week ending February 9, 1929, The Indianapolis Star newspaper published articles and advertisements for the burlesque show Dimpled Darlings starring George Leon and Fay Norman that was playing at the Mutual Theatre. This photo of a poster was probably identical to ones promoting the show when it played in in Indianapolis earlier in the month.In the 1920s, the Mutual Burlesque Circuit operated multiple touring companies that performed at Mutual-owned theaters in many cities. |
