Description: Front shows the right facade of the Delta Gamma house on Indiana Universitys campus. Front of postcard titled Delta Gamma (Indiana University), / Bloomington, Indiana. Postmarked September 19, 1911.According to the Indiana University archives, the Delta Gamma house was located in the Forest Place area of campus. The Delta Gamma Theta chapter website reports that the Theta chapter rented rooms in private homes until 1916, when it moved to 814 East Third Street. In the 1920s, the university moved the fraternities and sororities to the Fraternity Quadrangle along Jordan Avenue on the east side of campus.
