Description: |
Neon signs indicate that the restaurant and bar sold beer, wine, steaks, and chops. A Ford dealer is seen in the background in a concrete block commercial building. The Ford dealership was operated by Kerlin Motor Company. Newspapers indicate that Richard Underhill bought the bar in the Central Block in 1946 and changed the name to Dicks Restaurant. He operated it until at 1956 when he sold it to Bud Gall. Walter Keiser and wife Florence operated the restaurant in August 1957. Underhill repurchased the restaurant from Gall in 1959 and sold it a second time to Wally Cain.
